An agent’s dream listing is a swoon worthy magazine cover photo shoot home, 100% ready in and out to be photographed and submitted to Maine Listings. The reality is that while most homes I list are indeed show-ready, there are always those few that are brimming with promise but just need a little attention to make them really shine. That’s when I put on my cape and become the “Tidying Titan” Realtor. My mission is to help make homes look the best they can be. I either prepare a to-do list of jobs for homeowners to finish around the house or provide pointers on how to maximize their exterior curb appeal. For those clients that don’t have the physical ability to tackle the chores themselves or have the means to afford hiring professional services, I volunteer my time. Every house I sell is going to sparkle.
A day in my life as a Realtor is more than being on the road for showings and inspections. More often than not I have paint brush in hand, I’m covered in paint splatters, or I’m outside weeding, raking, and adding flowers to gardens or porches. I always have work gloves, pruning shears, and a hammer and nails in my car’s tool box. I am not afraid of digging in and getting dirty. Over the years I have painted brick walls, pulled up ripped carpet, pruned shrubs, and spent countless hours weeding walkways. Those are just some of my super powers as the “Tidying Titan.” And as an added bonus … I don’t need to work out at the gym.
